Creso

Designed 1988 - 2021

The Creso Dining Table embodies the vision of Lella and Massimo Vignelli, transforming a dining table into a striking piece of design. Its monolithic silhouette features a single pedestal base, capturing the Vignellis' approach to simplicity and powerful form. The round top is available in travertine, glass, or marble, supported by a base finished in various metallic tones. A refined reinterpretation of the Vignellis’ design philosophy, Creso combines material strength with timeless elegance.

Materials:
Top:
transparent glass, marble or travertine.
Base: painted steel, clad with brass-plated steel foil or travertine.

Available in:

Surface:
– Transparent glass, .59 inches thick;
– Matte Carrara statuario white marble, gold Calacatta, black Marquinia, red Levanto, green Alpi, .78 inches thick; marbles with polyester glossy finishes are available upon request;
– Matte Travertine, .78 inches thick (max Ø 62.99 inches), stone with a natural polished finish. The Travertine top is only paired with the base in the same finish.

Base:
The cylindrical base (Ø15.75 and Ø19.68 inches) is made with a steel tube, painted in a gun-metal grey or orbital bronze finish, or clad with a brass-plated steel foil. Another variation is the single-material version in matte Travertine, made from a single block. An internal iron column supports the weight of the entire structure without negatively impacting the marble cladding.
