Tradition and future, utility and sensitivity, humans and the environment – the creative desire to unite polar opposites is what drives Studio Shuu in Munich. The two names behind it all are Limin Wang and Xiaoyi Lu, both of whom specialised in transport design for their degrees and spent many years in the automotive industry before turning their attention to furniture and lights. The creations of Studio Shuu are characterised by clarity and poetry. The two designers seek not only to fulfil the needs and wishes of their customers but to rethink and redefine value, identity and beauty through their work.
