A system of full and empty spaces, using the different depths to create a feeling of extended surfaces, where the different elements are like suspended planes in respect to the floor. At the basis of this project there is a study of material and research into textiles. With the final choice inspired by canvases, woven cottons and coarse fabrics.

Graphite painted steel feet. Steel frame. Elastic strips suspension. Seat upholstered in graduated polyurethane/ Dacron Du Pont with quilted insert of goose feathers. Backrest and armrests upholstered in graduated polyurethane/Dacron Du Pont with quilted insert of goose feathers and polyester fiber flakes. Back cushions upholstered in polyurethane/ Dacron Du Pont or in goose feathers. Removable cover in fabric or leather.

Designer

Roberto Palomba and Ludovica Palomba Serafini, architects and designers, have been working together since 1994. After graduating in architecture at the University of Rome, they founded the Palomba e Serafini Associated Studio, based in Verona. The Studio deals primarily with architecture, design, art direction, communications and marketing consulting. 

They collaborate with several international leading  design companies and their projects have been awarded with several international prizes.

The architect Roberto Palomba’s been working as professor at the Polythecnic of Milan - Industrial Design Department - since 2003.
