Lord is the armchair designed by Alfredo Häberli who conceived them for meeting the various “seating requirements” both inside the home and the working place. Lord (armchair with high backrest) has the rotating and tilting seat and the base can be either with or without castors.

Reclining swivel armchair. Five-spoke base in polished aluminum alloy with castors or feet (2278/P). Adjustable seat height. The tilting back, with controls, can be set in five different positions or made to constantly rock. Polyurethane upholstery with elastic strips suspension. Seat cushion in polyurethane/Dacron Du Pont, on request. Removable fabric or leather cover.

Designer

Born in Buenos Aires in 1964. He moved to Zurich in 1977 where he trained at Höhere Schule für Gestaltung; graduating in 1991, and received the industrial designer prize from Schule für Gestaltung. He curated and designed a host of exhibitions for the Zurich Museum für Gestaltung, including "Bruno Munari: Showing Air" (the designer also edited the book).

From 1993 to 1999 he worked on his own or with Christophe Marchand. As of the year 2000 he continued his career individually, focusing on the design field. His works have been published in a host of international journals and displayed in several international exhibitions, being awarded many times.
