Jima Highback

Designed 2020

The Jima Highback is a cherished addition to the recently introduced Jima family.

Particularly noteworthy is the single, flowing line running from the top of the upholstered back, via the arms to the bottom of the seat. This makes it appear as if the seat cushion is locked in an embrace, as well as providing maximum comfort.

The Jima Highback’s majestic high back and raised armrests offer optimal support to the user’s shoulders and back, while its seat will fit perfectly under many different types of tables. This makes the Jima Highback an absolute essential for conference tables, workplaces and public meeting spaces.

With the inclusion of the Jima Highback, four new versions have been added to the Jima family. The design comes in an extensive range of fabrics and colours, inviting you to experiment with any interior style.

Upholstery
Textile or leather
Upholstery in two colours of one fabric is possible. One colour for the back and arms, and one colour for the seat.

Base materials
The base is available in a variety of finishes, for instance powder coat or oiled.
-- 4-legged, steel :
base is finished in a standard powder coat colour. Chrome is an option. With black plastic gliders.
-- 4-legged, wood :
The ash wood base is finished in a standard Artifort oil (6 options).
-- swiveling star-base, without return mechanism :
The base is standard finished in an powder coat colour. Polished aluminum is an option.

Construction
A steel internal frame with a foam-filled back that provides comfort and subtle curves. The loose seat cushion is made from a foam-filled wooden mould, which ensures exceptional comfort. The Jima Highback is available in four versions: with an elegant aluminium swivel star-base, a five-legged height adjustable swivel base with castors, a four-legged steel base and a four-legged ash wood base.

Height-adjustable 5-legged base with castors :
The base is finished in a standard powder coat colour or polished aluminum. If the base is polished, then the operating mechanism under the seat is always made of polished aluminum. If the base is powder coated, the operating mechanism under the seat is always carried out in black. Gas spring is always chromed.
