A founding member of Memphis Design in 1981 at the age of 29, Thun has had his own office since 1984, and thanks to his versatility there is barely a major manufacturer in Europe that does not figure on his client list. As an architect Matteo Thun has been particularly successful with hotels, and his elegant style, always attuned to its surroundings, has attracted much comment.
