Lia

Chair. Armchair. Aluminum alloy frame, polished or painted black, graphite or white. Seat, back and armrests upholstered in polyurethane. Removable cover in fabric or leather or non-removable in cowhide. Upon request two loose covers to be put on without fixing can be supplied: in 100% white cotton, available either short covering seat and backrest or long covering legs too; or in fabric Canneto, 100% linen, available long only.

In 1999, continuing a now consolidated research on the leading topic of chairs with an aluminum frame, Zanotta presented the chair Lia that proved to be innovative due to the increasingly advanced use of die-casting: the chair side is made of one single element in aluminum alloy which holds the front and back legs and the chair back. Roberto Barbieri’s skill in designing this chair was also that of expertly merging an important technological innovation with a neutral, unimposing idea of shape which can easily adapt to any environment and furniture style.

Available in quick ship: (talento - lino 27603 + polished aluminum frame), (cowhide 95 - gold 0714 + black-painted aluminum frame) and (teolo - gray 30605 + polished aluminum frame).
