A bold statement in your interior that is as striking as it is cozy, the Wham Armchair is part of an upholstered furniture series by Hermann August Weizenegger. Inspired by the scale and form of Bauhaus architecture, it features strong lines and soft surfaces, with plush upholstery on a solid metal frame.

The Wham Armchair is available with a swivel or fixed base in eight standard fabrics, with additional fabric options available upon request.

Designer

Hermann August Weizenegger, born in 1963, is a renowned German industrial designer and professor at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences since 2004. Notable projects include the 2010 “Felsenland” installation at Berlin’s Berghain and the “Hotel Dresden” project. His work focuses on narration, sustainability, and subversive serial production.

Weizenegger’s solo exhibition “Atmoism – Gestaltete Atmosphären” ran from 2020 to 2021 in Berlin. He has served on various design award juries and was a founding member of Designmai. In 2017, he was named one of the “Best of German Interior Design.” He collaborates with brands like pulpo and KPM Berlin.
